Kay Gelroth died September 5, 2011, at her home in White Deer, TX.A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 17th at Lincoln Street Baptist Church with Rusty Hancock officiating.Veona Kay Gelroth was born June 3, 1955 in Denver, CO to Vernon and Virginia (Lowell) Gelroth. She grew up in Colorado and attended Arvada West high School and graduated in 1973. In 1982 she and her children moved to Dalhart where she worked at Coon Memorial Hospital as a CNA. She met Doug (her significant other) in 1993 and they lived in South Dakota before moving to White Deer. A Memorial Service is Pending. Survivors include 3 sons Gilbert Perry of Amarillo, TX, Tim Perry of Dalhart, TX and Joseph Perry of Charleston, MO. Daughter Glenda Brown of Dalhart, TX. 2 Brothers Joe Gelroth of Manhattan, KS, and John Gelroth of Colorado, Springs, CO, 2 sisters Carol Green of San Antonio, TX and Beth Klein of Mishawaka, IN - her Parents - Vernon and Virginia Gelroth of Arvada, CO. and 7 Grandchildren.
