Kattie Elizabeth Martin, 85, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Dalhart, TexasFuneral services were held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, TexasOfficiating was Steve Patterson, Pastor of Central United Methodist Church, Dalhart, Texas.Kattie Elizabeth Martin, was born May 3, 1924 to Orun and Blanche Wadlow near Hobart Oklahoma. She married William E. Bill Martin on May 22, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV. After World War II they farmed in the Rio Grande Valley near Mission, TX before moving to Iowa in 1950. In 1973 they moved to Dalhart where Bill sold farm chemicals before they went back into farming here in the Dalhart area. Katie was a homemaker and did volunteer work with the Coon Memorial Home Auxiliary - Pink Ladies for over 30 years..
