Janice Karen Gustin, 74, of Dalhart, Texas passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. Funeral services were held at the Denver Avenue Church of Christ in Dalhart at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Graveside services followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 6, 1939 to J.B. and Ruby Calhoun. She married James Russell Gustin, Sr. in Lubbock, Texas on February 28, 1959. She was a long time secretary and member of the Denver Avenue Church of Christ in Dalhart. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patty. Survivors include her husband, Jim Gustin of Brownfield, Texas, her children Russell Gustin and wife Cindy of Brownfield; Denise Bray and husband Ken of Lubbock; grandchildren Steve Gustin, David Gustin and Haley Bray; and 4 great grandchildren.
