Joyce Pinner McCarty, 78, died on Saturday, December 9, 2006 in Dalhart, TX.Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Lakeview United Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery - under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home. Officiating was George Chambers, Pastor, Lakeview united Methodist Church and Stephen Gayle Joyce Pinner was born July 5, 1928 in Sayre, OK to Oval and Mary (Orr) Pinner - Joyce lived most of her life in Dalhart and in 1962 she went to work for Montgomery Wards until the Catalog Store in Dalhart closed in 1987. She was active in the Cow Belles, Pilot Club International, Nurses Auxiliary and served several years on the City Council for the City of Dalhart. Joyce became a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church in 1961.
