Joyce Alleene (Paschall) Brock, 89 of Dalhart, went to meet her Lord on Monday, August 22, 2022. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Clay Lobley officiating. Mrs. Brock will lay in state from 4-6:00pm on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Joyce Paschall was born Monday, January 16, 1933 in Floydada, Texas to Lois (Walker) and Roy Paschall. She graduated from Amarillo High in 1952. After graduation she went to work for Sander Automotive in Amarillo, TX and worked there until she married Donnie Brock on June 19, 1961. They moved to Dalhart, TX in 1974. Joyce worked as the principals secretary at Dalhart High School for many years. She loved spending time reading books and putting together puzzles. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul. She is survived by her husband Donnie, son Chris, his wife Jamie and their daughter Piper, daughter Donna Whitsitt, a niece Theresa Cretsor and her son Cody and many extended family members.
