Joy McClung, 72 of Amarillo formerly of Dalhart, passed away on May 29, 2023. Burial of cremated remains will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Ty Hancock, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, officiating. This will be a short celebration of life for her and to send her on her way peacefully. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Ms. McClung was born in Perryton Texas. She attended Amarillo College and received her nursing degree. She traveled a lot when she was a traveling nurse. She did nursing for many years.
