Survivors include his wife Rose, his daughters Alicia, Alejandrina, Patricia Archuletta, Connie Rodriguez, Juana Mesta, Anna Luisa Mesta, and Margarita Mesta. Sons Jose Jr. and Daniel. Sisters - Esmeralda, Sanjuana, Simona, Rosa, Marie, and Paula. Brothers Valentine, Miguel and Manuel.
