Jose Abel Cancino, age78 died Saturday, October 17, 2009 in Dalhart, Texas.Prayer services were held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church. Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Domingo Duenez, pastor, Primera Iglesia Bautista Church officiated.Mr. Cancino was born May 6, 1931 in Juanaldama Zach., Mexico. He has lived in Dalhart for 30 years. He retired from Potter Feedlot in 1997 after 20 years of service. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.He is survived by six daughters: Rosa Barron, San Juana Delgado, Simona Cancino, and Paula Moncada all of Dalhart, Esmeralda Bolanos of Texline, and Marybell Medina of Del Rio. Four Sons: Eladio Cancino, Jose Cancino, Miguel Cancino all of Dalhart, and Manuel Cancino of Del Rio. One brother: Jose Socorro Cancino of Mexico. Two sisters: Ricarda Cancino of San Angelo, and Maria Vasilisa Cancino of Mexico; 41 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
