Joella D. O'Neill ( December 02, 1927 - January 21, 2017 ) Funeral services for JOELLA D. O'NEILL, 89, of Danville were held at 7:00pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation from 5:00 pm until time of service.Burial took place in the Dalhart, Texas at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.Joella was born in San Antonio, Texas to Egbert and Mary Elizabeth (Atkinson) Daniel. She attended North Texas State University. She married John Tucker who preceded her in death. She later married John O'Neill, who also preceded her in death in 1991. She was a woman "ahead of your time". Joella was a former model, flew her own airplane, enjoyed "big game" hunting, and was a real estate agent, owning the Central Indiana Real Estate & Development Corp. in Indianapolis from 1954-1978. She was a member of M.I.B.O.R. and the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Survivors include her children, Cheryl O'Neill of Danville, Sean O'Neill of San Antonio, Tx., 2 grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren.
