Joseph William Zinser,73,died Monday, November 1, 2010 in Dalhart, Texas Graveside Services were held at 11:30 am Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX. Survivors include his: wife - Linda (Elms) Zinser of Dalhart, TX Daughters Sami and her husband Dwayne Dennis of Dalhart, TX and Jennifer and her husband Jarret Bowers of Dalhart, TX. A son Will Zinser of Los Angeles, CA 4 Grandchildren: Kali and Kenzie Dennis, Jolie Bowers and Dylan Bowers all of Dalhart, TX Sisters: Bernice and her husband Bob Browne of Fredericksburg, TX, Millie Bockelman of Denver, CO, Virginia MacPherson of Denton, TX and Carolyn Cansler and husband Charlie of Pilot Point, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Hank and 2 sisters Mary and Wilma. Joseph William Zinser (the 6th of 8 children) was born November 9, 1936 in Ware, Texas to William and Beatrice (Noble) Zinser. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1954 and was a US Army Veteran. Joe lived his entire life in Dallam County where he farmed, raised cattle and helped several area ranches doing day work. He married Linda Elms on June 22, 1968 in Stratford, TX.
