Jerry Wishon, 82 of Dalhart, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00am Monday, August 15, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Jerry was born on July 21, 1940 in Illinois to Grant and Dora L. Wishon. Jerry dropped out of high school to Honorably serve our country in the United States Army and retired after 23 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He loved and cherished spending time with his family and friends. Some of jerrys favorite pastimes were playing video games, fishing, collecting guns and target shooting. He is preceded in death by: his parents and LeNeva Wishon. Jerry is survived by three children: Matthew Wishon and wife Pam of Coeur dAlene, ID, Rebeckah Wishon of San Antonio, TX, and Isaac Wishon and wife Donna of Dalhart; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 3 brothers: Alan, Jimmy and Doug; and 4 sisters: Dorothy, Ruby, RoseMary and Evelyn.
