Jerral grew up in Dalhart and graduated form Dalhart High School in 1964. He attended Sul Ross State University where he was a member of the rodeo team, , later transferred to Texas Tech. He farmed in the Rehm Community and then relocated to Dumas, TX and was employed with Jack Oldham Oil Company. Jerral enjoyed fishing, making spurs, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.He is survived by his sisters - Bertha Blake of Dalhart and Betty Fletcher of Hartley - 2 brothers - Johnny Mitchell of Canyon, TX and Jerry Mitchell of Dalhart, TX two Daughters: Shea Santos and Christy Mitchell of Garland, TX 5 grandchildren Jacob, Alexis, Nikolaus and Abigail Santos and Jayda Scaife of Garland, TX Many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jackie Paul and Jimmy Mitchell.
