J D Frazier, 76 died monday, October 4, 2004 at his home with his family by his side.Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.Dean Whaley Minister Dalhart Church of Christ, Dalhart, Texas will officiateJD Frazier was born July 5, 1928 in Dalhart, TX to Robert L. and Martha E. (Puckett) Frazier. A lifelong resident of the Dalhart area, when JD was 12 years old he set out on his own and began working for Reynolds Cattle Company. On December 7, 1948 he married Sarah Jo Russell in Clayton, NM. In his ranching & farming career he has worked for Bravos @ Spring Creek Ranch, Matadors, Malcom Stuart, Taylors and Finch Brothers Ranches before starting his own Ranching and Farming operation in 1973. JDs life was centered on his family and his ranching, he loved & enjoyed his grandchildren, and was a member of the Matador Cowboy Reunion and the American Quarter Horse Association - He will be missed by his family, loved ones and friends. He is survived by 2 Sons - Joel & his wife Donna Frazier and Jay Frazier all of Dalhart, TX1 Brother: Joe Bill Frazier of Dumas, TX4 grandchildren Camie Frazier, Dee Frazier and Jamie Frazier of Dalhart TX and Kara Frazier of Whitesboro, TXJD is preceded in death by his parents & 15 brothers and sistersMemorials may be made to: Memorial Park Cemetery or Favorite Charity
