Raised in the panhandle he married Anita Coulter on February 22, 2010. A member of the Methodist Church he attended Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart, TX. Jason was a loving father and enjoyed his family, pets, and horses. He worked for Hartley Feeders in feedmill maintenance. Jason was an active member of the XIT Rangers. Jason is survived by his wife Anita Wright of Dalhart, TX, a daughter Rhonda Lynn Wright of Dalhart, TX and a son Walker Dale Wright of Ohio. His father Ronald Wright of Seymour, TX and mother Sharon Philpott Wright and Monte Joe Smith of Miami, TX . Grandfather Don Philpott of Miami, TX, great grandparents Kent and Helen Philpott of Pampa, TX Four brothers Ron Wright, Jr. and his wife Billie of Big Timber, MT, Reginold Royce Wright and Robert Glenn Wright of Brighton, NC, and Bobby Shaw McCoy and his wife Sherry of Houston, TX. One sister Angela Wright of Seymour, TX. His father and mother in law Eldon and Evelyn Thomas of Dalhart, TX.
