James Wallace Warren, known to his loved ones as J.W., passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 72 in Hartley, Texas. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00PM, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1335 Nash RD., Nashville, GA, with Jim William and James Guthrie officiating. The family visitation will begin just prior to the service at 1:30PM at the same location. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. He was born on June 18, 1951, in Nashville, Georgia, to Betty Ruth Guthrie and Wallace Warren. J.W. was a hardworking individual who dedicated himself to his career at Hartley County Implement. He took great pride in his work and significantly contributed to his field. In his personal life, J.W. was a devoted family man. He is survived by his children Eva Morris, Tom (Terri) Jernigan, and Darlene (Gabe) Flanders, his grandchildren Dekota "Scotty" Morris, Dakota (Kayla) Flanders, Brandon (Megan) Flanders, Harmony Morris, Samantha (Tyler) Smith, Conner Jernigan, Mercedes Miller, and fourteen great-grandchildren. His parents Betty Ruth Guthrie and Wallace Warren, his brother Mike Warren, and his beloved wife Patricia Warren preceded him in death. J.W.'s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
