James died Monday, November 20, 2006 in Amarillo, Texas.Graveside Services were held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, TX With Father Scot Raef. Survivors include - His wife Linda of Dalhart, Texas His brother Roy Hubbs of Dalhart, Texas - his nephews- Steve Hubbs of Carpinteria, California John Walker of Flaabrook, California and Tally Reagan of Weatherford, Oklahoma and a Niece - Nickie Reagan of Dalhart, Texas Preceded in death by his parents.James Robert Hubbs was born on November 28, 1934 in Dalhart to Owen and Rosalie (Theisman) Hubbs. Raised in Dalhart, James graduated from Dalhart High School in 1953. He worked as a brakeman for the Rock Island and Union Pacific RR for 38 years. On October 1, 1965 he married Linda Walker in Carpinteria, CA. James was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Dalhart Elks Lodge B.P.O.E.
