Jake Britz, 59, died Thursday, June 02, 2011 in Dalhart, Texas A gathering for family and friends was held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Family home at 1011 Dallam from 4-7 pm. He is survived by his wife Robbie Britz of Dalhart, TX , Son, Ben Rawlings of Dalhart, Granddaughter, Chelsea Stegall of Dalhart, Grandson Alex Stegall of Nara Vista, AZ. Brothers, Billy and Richard, Sisters, Cindy, Judy, Angie and Georgia C., his mother Georgia and his parents-in-law James and Helen Ford of Dalhart.he is preceded in death by his Father George Britz Jr. Jake was born in Menominee, MI to George and Georgia Britz on June 11, 1951. He married Robbie on April 21, 1989 in Big Spring, Texas. Jake worked for James and Helen Ford at Dalhart Bearing. They were his second family. He was a member of the Dalhart Cruzers. He loved spending time with all his friends. Jake never had children of his own, but a lot of kids called him Dad and PePa
