Jack Eaves, 91, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Dalhart, Texas. Services were held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church, under the care of Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating will be Rusty Hancock pastor of Lincoln Street Baptist Church. Jack L. Evans was born to Delbert L. and Lougenia Sherrod Eaves on February 18, 1932 in Bells, Tennessee. He grew up in Bells and graduated from Bells High School. Jack began his life long career of being a meat packer in Memphis, Tennessee after high school. He married his wife Geneva in 1990 in Memphis. She preceded him in death. Jack moved to Dalhart in October, 2014 to be close to his sister Mary Richardson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Lougenia Eaves, wife Geneva, a brother Edward Eaves, a sister, Ruth Lawrimore. He is survived by a sister Mary Richardson of Dalhart, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews
