Ita Cessnun die Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in Stratford, Texas at the age of 98 Years A Vigil Service was held at 7:00 pm Friday, October 8, at St. Anthonys Catholic ChurchMass of Christian Burial was held at 3:00 PM Saturday October 9, 2004 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating was Father Ron Matthews, Pastor of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, at Prayer TownSurvivors: Many nieces, nephews , and great nieces and nephewsIta was born February 4, 1906 in Alta Vista, Kansas to Edwin J. and Mary (Sobke) Cessnun. Her family moved to Dalhart in 1917 where she lived her life until she entered the nursing home in Dumas and then in Stratford. Ita was a bookkeeper for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and of many of the organizations of the Church. Ita was a special lady to all and will be greatly missed.Memorials to: St. Anthonys Catholic School
