Isabelle Brown, 91, died Friday, July 17, 2009 in Dumas, TX.Graveside Services were held at 3:30pm, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery Dalhart, TX - under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart, TX Isabelle Horton was born February 5, 1918 to Marion and Mattie (Gallett) Horton in Rhome, Texas. She grew up in Azel and Matador before moving to Dalhart. Isabelle met and married John Calvin Hurt in October 1933 in Dalhart. After John passed away she married Louie Brown in 1968 in Channing, Texas. She moved to Dumas twenty-five years ago to be close to her daughter when her health started to decline. She had been a member of Hunt Memorial Methodist Church in Dumas. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting and being with her grandchildren.She is survived by two daughters Cecelia Duckworth of Dumas, TX Dorothy Jarrett of Canyon, TX, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Hurt, husband Louie Brown, one daughter,one son, four brothers, and four sisters
