Irene Dolecheck 87, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Dalhart, Texas.Services were held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Horizon Funeral Home with Fr. Scott L. Raef, Pastor St. Anthonys Catholic Church - Dalhart, Texas. Burial will be in the McIntosh Cemetery in McIntosh, South Dakota on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Irene Lucille Haux was born April 16, 1920 in Java, SD to Ralph and Sophia (Schmeichel) Haux. Raised in McIntosh, SD she graduated form McIntosh High School in 1939. On September 23, 1939 she married Albert Dolecheck in McIntosh. Irenes life revolved around her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family and many friends. An artistic and creative woman and seamstress, she enjoyed many crafts including being a chalk artist and cook. These talents would naturally bring family and friends together and will continue to live on, through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Irene lived her last years in a nursing home where she received much love and care from employees and family. As the sun set on November 3rd the Good Lord decided to bring her home to be with her family in heaven where she will always watch over us through the clouds. Survivors include her Daughters- Lynda Voshall of Keystone, SD Marylu and her husband Curt Bergemann of Peck, KS and Benita and her husband Mike Ploog of Dalhart, TX - Sister: Alberta McLawhorn of Gainesville , FL Brother: Roy and his wife Opal Haux of Mobridge, SD13 Grandchildren & 22 Great Grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildrenShe is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Albert Dolecheck who died in November 1999 1 daughter: Marlice who died in 1983 and 2 great-grandchildren
