She was raised in Roy, New Mexico and on November 18, 1961 she married Art Arguello. They moved to Dalhart in 1962. Ida worked for Jack & Jill Supermarket as Bakery Manager and the Produce Manager and later for Crumptons. Ida was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary
