Hubert Clyde Green, 85, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Dalhart, Texas.Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Mt Ida Cemetery, DeQueen, AR. Hubert Clyde Green was born October 2, 1922 in Ft. Worth, TX to Troy and Elsie (Goldsmith) Green. He grew up in Texas and Arkansas. In 1973 he married Thelma Scott Corley in Artesia, NM. They moved to Del Rio, TX in 1984 and to Logan, NM in 1999. Thelma died in 2006. Huberts hobbies included rebuilding and flying private airplanes, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his sons: Charles and his wife Kay Green of Avinger, TX - Robert and his wife Margaret Green of Franklin, TN Step-son Eddie and his wife Mary Corley of Logan, NM A daughter Peggy and her husband Ken Sawyer of Avinger, TX 1 brother Richard (Dick) and his wife Shirley Green, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his wife Thelma, 2 brothers Carl and Troy and 2 sisters- Lucille Crouch and Loma Delayhush
