Helen Loraine Pack, 94 of Dalhart, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 23, 2021. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10 o clock in the morning on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Josh Stueve officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Helen was born December 15, 1926, in Lizz (Freeburn), KY to Frank and Tennessee (Dotson) Hurley. Helen married Richard K. Pack on February 6, 1950, in Pikeville, KY. She took pride in taking care of her family and she had the gift of service. She was a volunteer worker at the Dalhart Senior Center for over 22 years where she prepared for and cleaned up after Dalhart Rotary Club noon luncheons. Helen was a member of the First Assembly of God Church where she served as the church secretary for many years, and she was a member of the Dalhart Golden Spurs. Helen was honored as the Dalhart Volunteer for the year in 2015. Those left to cherish her memories are her son Glen Pack of Dalhart, her daughter in law Kim Pack of Dalhart, her granddaughters Lysl Vermedahl and husband Nathan of Dalhart and Tiffany Moore and husband Colby of Aledo, TX, and her great grands Jack, Kate and Gracie Vermedahl and Cade, Collin and Tinlee Moore and one sister, Ruby Stomp of Matawan, WV. Helen joined her husband, Richard, her son, Kenneth, her parents, four brothers, one sister, and many friends in Heaven. Memorials can be made to the Dalhart Senior Center.
