Helen Crawford Willis Hartman,77, died on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Dalhart, Texas Services were held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at First Christian Church with Barry Walker, Pastor, officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.Helen is survived by her husband Larnce Hartman of Dalhart, TX and a daughter Jeana Jackson and her husband Dennis of Canadian, TX a Son-in-law; Brian Walker of Dalhart, TX a granddaughter - Stephanie and her husband Ty Ellis of Dalhart, TX , one great grandson Carter James Ellis of Dalhart, TX, a sister Shirley McCammond of Amarillo, TX and a brother Roy Finch and his wife Carole of Banning, CA. Stepsons Mark and his wife Barbara Willis of Ft. Collins, CO and Mike and his wife Marcy Willis of Dalhart, TX Sandy and his wife Annette Kimbell of Ransom Canyon, TX. Step-Daughter Nickie Sue Paulzer and her husband Bobby of Lubbock, TX. 8 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. And 2 Nephews and 1 Niece.Helen lived in Stratford with family, graduated from school in 1954 and married James Crawford, her high school sweetheart, they had two daughters, Debbie and Jeana Beth. Helen moved to Dalhart in 1977 and married Marvin Willis, a farmer and rancher. They attended First Christian Church. She and Marvin loved their church and worked in the church as Sunday school teachers, the missionary guild, and readers club. She loved taking care of older folks. When Marvin died in 1998, Helens time was filled with family and church family and friends. Helen married Larnce Hartman in 2003, he was a wonderful companion and traveling partner to Helen, and has a gentle spirit and kind heart. Helen is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Grace Finch, her husband Marvin Willis, a daughter Debbie Walker, 2 stepsons Mike and Gary Hartman and a step daughter Charlotte McCarthy.
