Haskell Henry Hall (Hack), age 88 of Waxahachie, TX went to meet his Lord and Savior on October 21, 2016.A Memorial Service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Maypearl, TX. Burial followed at 10:00 am on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Haskell Henry Hall was born in Dalhart, Texas to Frank Sumner Hall and Leeona Fisk Hall on August 2, 1928. He was the youngest of eight children. He graduated from Dalhart High School class of 1947. He joined the Navy where he attended Sonar School. Upon leaving the Navy he married Helen Louise Howerton on June 5, 1953 in Dalhart, Texas. He was on the Amarillo Police Department in 1954 through 1957 and then joined the Texas Liquor Control Board/Alcohol Beverage Commission where he worked until his retirement in 1979. Wherever he lived, Haskell Henry Hall was active in church and at the time of his death was a member of First Baptist Church of Maypearl.He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frank and Leeona Hall, and his siblings, Florence Schibblehute, Frank Sumner Hall, Jr., Paul Hall, Carl Hall, Vera Huseman, Grace Morgan, and Lester Hall.Haskell Henry Hall is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Louise Howerton Hall and his children Vicki Hall Hollon, D. Leslie Hollon, Nancy Hall Beard, Rick Beard, Sharon Hall Lee, Tommy Lee, niece and nephew Mayme Pease and Ben Huseman. He is also survived by his grandchildren Rachel Hollon James and Tom James, Jason Lee and Cindy Lee, Clint Lee and Lizette Lee, LeeAnn Beard Ogden spouse Geoffrey Ogden, Ryan Lugalia-Hollon and Michelle Lugalia-Hollon, Tyler Beard and Meagan Beard, Steven Hollon, great-grandchildren Rebekah Lee, Jonathan Lee, Olivia Lugalia-Hollon, Camilia Lee, Jack James, and Truett Beard.Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Maypearl.
