Harlies Eugene Clements, 72, passed away on Friday June 27, 2014. Harlies Eugene Clements was born October 17, 1941 to John (Jasper) and Myrtle (Kalm) Clements in Dalhart, TX. Except for a few months, Harlies was a life-long resident of Dalhart. He was a retired conductor for the railroad, an avid hunter, gun collector, car enthusiast, and motorcyclist. He was very knowledgeable about many different subjects and had the skill to fix almost anything. Preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Lee Carter. He is survived by sons Curtis Clements and wife Pam of Abilene, TX and Travis Clements and wife Susan of Dalhart. Two sisters- Lavinia Peters of Marlow, OK and Pat Peyton of Cashion, OK. Five grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank Betty Blades for the love and care she gave to Harlies over the last few years.In lieu of a funeral service, the family will accept visitors from 6:00-8:30 on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at the home of Travis Clements 1801 Kiowa Trl.
