Grace Carranza, 87 of Dalhart, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2:00PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Lawrence John celebrating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30PM on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Grace was born on November 29, 1934 to Regino and Sara Carranza in Dalhart, TX. She loved her family very much and cherished every moment spent with them. Grace was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and sister that will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents: Regino and Sara Carranza; one daughter: Fannie Gallegos; siblings: Faustino Carranza, Nieves Carranza, Michella Carranza, Aurelo Carranza, Gonzales Carranza and Thomas Carranza. Grace is survived by one brother: Bernade Carranza; five grandchildren: Frank, Mike, Charles, Brandon and Johnny Gallegos; 20 great grandchildren and 9 great great granchidren.
