Geraldine (Jerry) Carter, 90, died Monday, December 13, 2010 in Dalhart, Texas Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Central United Methodist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, Texas. Survivors include her Daughters Cheryl Ricketson and her husband Allan of Dalhart, TX and Julie White and her husband Scott of Hartley, TX. Carter, parents- Sil and Florence Jones 1 brother- Sil Jones and two sisters Ladene Johnson and Sylvia Williamson, a great granddaughter Mykaily Davis and a nephew Jerry Williamson.Muriel Geraldine Jones was born April 5, 1920 in Dalhart, Texas to Sil V. and Florence E. (Grimmer) Jones. Graduated from Dalhart High School in 1938. She married E.G. Carter on October 12, 1941 in Dalhart, TX. Jerry was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and will be remembered as the mother and grandmother who would always find time to play with the kids. And the love she shared for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
