Gerald Lee Garrett, 61 of Channing, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 5 o clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Arena of Life Church in Amarillo. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Gerald was born on August 1, 1960 to Curtis and Juanell Garrett in Spearman, TX. He had four brothers and one sister. Gerald married the love of his life in 1977 and then he joined the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged he started his lifetime career as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his father: Curtis Garrett; mother: Juanell Garrett; one brother: Nicky Garrett and one niece: Chrystal Garrett. Gerald is survived by his two sons: Rustee Garrett of Lubbock and Kevin Garrett and wife of Amarillo; one daughter: Mistee Hardy and husband of Canyon; three brothers: Dale, Cary and Scott Garrett all of Amarillo; one sister: Melanie Edwards of Amarillo; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
