George Edgar "Eddie" Hall, Jr., 71, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, TX. Barry Walker will officiate. Arrangements provided by Horizon Funeral Home. Eddie was born Thursday, July 27, 1950 in Pampa, Texas to Jacqueline "Jackie" (Thomas) and George Edgar Hall, Sr. He attended Dalhart High School and graduated in 1969. Upon graduation he became a seismograph crew member and got to travel all over the south for work. He also traveled often competing in rodeos. Eddie returned to Dalhart to raise his family. His kids were his pride and joy and whatever they were doing he was going to be right there cheering them on. Eddie worked in concrete construction for most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and watching his westerns. Eddie loved to laugh and make others happy. He married Ralene (Clements) Hall in 1996 and they had 25 good years together and adding many more family members to share his love and orneriness with. Eddie is survived by his wife Ralene Hall of Dalhart, TX, his three children: Cassie Davenport and husband David of Amarillo, TX, Sheldon Hall and wife Karrie of Marydel, MD and Toby Hall of Lubbock, TX, four stepchildren: Sherri Haschke and husband Eric of Dalhart, TX, R.D. Horn, Powder Horn and wife Amy of Dalhart, TX and Lark Horn of Dalhart, TX, 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, two brothers: Gary Hall and wife Sheryl of Dalhart, TX and Richard Hall of Amarillo, TX.
