She was a longtime resident of Hartley County. She served 2 terms as County Treasurer. She owned & operated Channing Drug Store. She was an independent business owner for many years. Survivors include - Daughter: Susie Overton of Dumas, Texas Son: Terry Allison of Los Lunas, NM Brother: Pete Smith of Andrews, Texas. 4 Granddaughters, Numerous Great Grandchildren.
