Frank B. Thomas, age 79, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Dalhart, TX.Visitation was on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Horizion Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at the Dalhart Church of Christ on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10:00 am and burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Frank was born in Buela, Texas on May 20, 1937 to F.B. Thomas, Sr. & Mary Ruth (Calloway) Thomas. He married Cordelia Deedie Stovall on June 29, 1955 in Muleshoe and they had 3 sons together. He came from a big hard working family, picked cotton as a child and enjoyed being a cowboy. He loved to talk, tell good jokes and was always smiling. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and was the last one to leave church. He was a devoted husband & father who loved spending time with his friends & family. Frank is survived by his wife, Deedie of Hartley, 2 sons Danny Lee Thomas and wife, Rhonda of Dalhart and Frank B. Thomas III and wife, Julie of Amarillo. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren- Amber Fuller and husband, Shane of Big Lake, Benjamin Thomas and wife, Erica of Amarillo and Andrew Thomas of Amarillo also 5 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Pauline Truelock of Jewett, TX, Hattie Perking of Amarillo, Donna Boone of Denver, TX and 1 brothers Fred Thomas and wife, Althea of Amarillo.He is preceded in death by his parents, F.B.
