Florence Emma Cox Parrott, 87, died Monday, April 25, 2011 in Amarillo, TX.Graveside Services were held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2011 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX . Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband Duey Parrott of Claude, TX, a sister Helen Gaye Cox Bannister of Sayre, OK, 2 stepsons; Lonnie Parrott and Don Roy Parrott of Amarillo, TX. .4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous Aunts and Uncles. Florence Emma Cox was born April 5, 1924 in Hugoton, KS, to Case Irvin and Florence Josephine (Blackmon) Cox. She attended schools in Elk City, OK and was a nurse and homemaker. On October 5th, 1946 she married Duey Parrott in Clovis, NM. She is preceded in death by a son D. Albert Franklin, her parents, a sister Nevada Pauline Cox and a brother William Joseph Cox Billy Joe.
