Florence Elizabeth Barber, 84 died on Monday, November 27, 2006 in Dalhart, Texas.Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at St. James Episcopal Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas - Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Dr. Lamuel Salik, Interim Rector, St. James Episcopal Church, Dalhart, Texas Florence Elizabeth Foulkes was born July 3rd, 1922 in Portland, Oregon to Frederick W. and Gladys E. (Bonesteel) Foulkes. She was raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1940. On January 26th, 1941 she married Hugh Edd Barber in Riverside, California. In September of 1942 they moved to Dalhart and remained there. A loving wife and mother she loved serving her church and her family. Florence was a Sunday school teacher as well a member of the Alter Guild.
