Federico C. Ruiz, 70, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas Graveside Services were held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemeteryin Dalhart, Texas Officiating the services was Tom Morris.Federico C. Ruiz was born September 20, 1937 in Ballinger, Texas to Albino and Candelaria (Cadena) Ruiz. He grew up in Rocksprings, TX and married Belia Gonzales on April 21, 1959. Federico was a sheep shearer before moving to Dalhart in 1983 when he went for work XIT feeders, retiring in 2001. His favorite pastimes were reading and being with family.He is survived by sons Albino Ruiz, Federico G. Ruiz, Jr. (wife Georgia), and Daniel Ruiz; all of Dalhart, TX. He is also survived by his daughter Elizabeth Capps (husband Steven) of Los Fresnos, TX, sister Lilia Franco of Zapata, TX, thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife Belia, son Danny Ruiz, seven Siblings and his parents.
