Ernesto Gonzalez, 49, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his home in Dalhart, TX. Rosary was said at at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Anthonys of Padua in Dalhart, TX. Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Anthonys of Padua. Burial followed at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, TX. Officiating by Father Lawrence John of St. Anthonys of Padua ~ Arrangements entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX. Ernesto Gonzalez Segovia was born on November 8, 1968 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Josefina Gonzalez. He was an only child and was raised by his loving mother. He was a Dairy farmer and worked for Faria Brothers for over 30 years. Ernesto worked hard and even worked on his days off. He was always busy doing something. He was blessed with 3 beautiful children and one grandchild that he loved dearly. His family and children meant the world to him. Ernesto is survived by his son, Jorge E. Gonzalez of Lovington, NM, daughter, Marisol Gonzalez of Dalhart, TX and son, Cesar Gonzalez of Dalhart, TX and one grandchild. Ernesto is preceded in death by his mother, Josefina Gonzalez.
