Elizabeth Niles, 87 died Friday, April 14, 2006 in Dalhart, Texas.Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, at St. James Episcopal Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Worth, Texas to James & Ora (Gaither) McAdams. She married James Niles in Ft. Worth on Sept. 6, 1947. After her husband was ordained a minister in 1956, they served Churches in Dallas for nearly 20 years. In 1975 James and Elizabeth came to serve St. James Episcopal Church in Dalhart. Elizabeth was church secretary and a vital part of the ministry. She was a member and served as President of the Daughters of the King and was also a member of the Episcopal Church Women Elizabeth remained in Dalhart after her husband died in December of 1984.
