Frances Elaine Hall, 84, died Thursday February 27, 2014 in Amarillo, TX. Memorial services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday March 7, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Dalhart, TX. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home in Dalhart, TX. Francis Elaine Devers was born August 28, 1929 to Harry Edwin and Lucy Emma (Lemon) Devers in Perryton, TX. She was raised on a farm north of Booker, TX, and then moved to a farm fourteen miles north of Dalhart on Highway 385 in August 1944. Elaine graduated from Dalhart High School May of 1947.She married Lester (Les) Earl Hall on August 22, 1948 at the First Christian Church in Dalhart, TX. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts, served as Elks Flag Coordinator for Memorial Park ensuring each veteran had a flag on his grave four times a year. If you needed her on Monday evening from 6:00~ 9:00, Elaine was at the Dalhart Bowling Alley until her health prevented her from bowling. After her retirement from Dallam County Appraisal District, she attended funerals held in Dalhart to ensure there was someone present to mourn the death. Elaine was an avid reader of romance novels and she loved the Texas Rangers, she never missed a televised game. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.Survivors include her son Larry Hall and his wife Karen of Providence Village, TX. Daughter Ginger Brant and her husband Bruce of New Braunfels, TX. Granddaughters: Heather Brant of New Braunfels, TX, Tammy Orozco and her husband Vince of Carrollton, TX, Aimee Jessop of Vacaville, CA, and Amanda Flores and her husband Eric of Drippings Springs, TX. Grandson- Kyle Brant and his wife Meredith of New Braunfels, TX. Great Grandsons- Jimmy Flores of Drippings Springs, TX, John Jessop of Vacaville, CA, and Owen Orozco of Carrollton, TX. Great Granddaughters- Katy and Erin Jessop of Vacaville, CA, and Lauren Orozco of Carrollton, TX. One brother Don Devers of Denton, TX.
