Edna Pyle, 79, died Monday, April 10, 2017 in Amarillo, TX Funeral Services were held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Church of The Nazarene, Dalhart, TX with Pastor Rick Calvert officiating. Burial did follow in Memorial Park Cemetery Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX Edna Fern Duncan was born November 17, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Homer Athlen and Hattie Pearl (Hogan) Duncan. Edna was raised in the St. Louis area and graduated from Central High School in 1957. On September, the 3rd, 1960 she married Glendon Pyle in St Louis. They moved to Dalhart in July of 1980. Edna was an active member of the Church of The Nazarene. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Edna enjoyed family, doll collecting, crocheting and scrap booking. Survivors include her husband Glendon Pyle of Dalhart, TX, 2 Sons: Glenn and his wife Dede Pyle of Dalhart, TX and Mark and his wife Molly Pyle of Isles of Capri, FL 1 daughter: Sandra and her husband Jeff Lunsford of Dalhart, TX as well as 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a brother: Homer & his wife Betty Duncan of Millstadt, Ill She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother.
