Dalhart, Texas.Officiating was Rev. Tom Johnson, Pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Colorado Springs, CO.Survivors include her Daughters - Deanna Burris of Van Buren, AR, and Amanda Peterson of Littleton, CO, Foster Daughters: Sharilyn and her husband Dennis Dobbins of Fort Smith, AR, Debra Stout of Colorado Springs, CO, and Helen and her husband Victor Miller of Titusville, FL, Brother: Ron and his wife Lareta Bishop of Clinton, OK, Sister: Patricia and her husband Aubrey Radford of Dalhart, TX, seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Edith Dolores Bishop was born Jan, 19, 1930 in Dalhart, Texas to George and Ruth Wood Bishop. Edith grew up in Dalhart and married Garvin Tidrick. They moved to Fort Worth, TX for a time and then to Colorado Springs, CO. Edith worked in the banking business and Garvin was a pastor the First United Pentecostal Church for seventeen Years until his death. During that time they had fifty foster children in their home.Preceded in death by her husband Garvin, her parents, two brothers, Charlie and Lynn Bishop and one sister, Bobbie King.
