Edward "Ed" Moore, 73, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas. A memorial service will be held at Lincoln Street Baptist Church on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Edward Richard Moore was born in Dalhart, Texas, on October 8, 1947, to his parents, Leo Moore and Daisy Schaffer Moore. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1966 and attended Baylor University, earning a degree in business. Ed spent many years working alongside his parents and his wife, Pat Palmer Moore, at 5M Farm and Ranch. Ed was an avid reader and had a story for just about any topic. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends and was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. In fact, many would say that Ed was a problem solver; he loved figuring out a unique way to address a problem. Simply put, Ed would "make it work." Ed was a faithful member of Lincoln Street Baptist Church, where he devoted many hours to various ministries within the church family. He also enjoyed travelling and camping, though his favorite destination was wherever his kids and grandkids happened to be. Ed is survived by his wife, Pat Moore of Dalhart, Texas; his mother Daisy Moore-Gabler of Dalhart, Texas; his brother Bill Moore, of Tyler, Texas; his sister Beverly Glazener of Garland, Texas; his son Patrick Rambo and wife J.J. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his daughter Jenifer Brennan and husband Ken of Frisco, Texas; his son Tim Moore and wife Marcie of Lyons, Colorado; and his daughter Jessica Quillin and husband John of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Franklin Rambo, Grant Rambo, Michael Brennan, Alexandra Brennan, Leo Moore, Suzanna Moore, Abby Quillin, and Luke Quillin. Ed is preceded in death by his father, Leo H. Moore. Ed and Pat would love any memorial donations to be made to the Lincoln Street Baptist Church Childrens Ministry.
