E. Joyce Kinsman 83, of Dalhart died Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 14, 2011 in the First Denver Friends Church located at 4575-A Eliot St., Denver, CO. 80211Joyce was born in Phillips, Nebraska on October 26, 1927 to William and Madge (Blair) Sims. She grew up in Nebraska attending college in Kearney, NE before moving to Santa Ana, CA where she met Harry D. Kinsman. They wed in 1946. Joyce worked for civil service throughout her life. She was very proud to be a naval officers wife and traveled extensively during Harrys navel career. After Harrys retirement, the family moved to Colorado. Joyce and Harry were members of the Methodist Church and were active in Eastern Star and the Masonic Lodge. In 1984 Joyce retired and moved to AZ. She recently moved to Dalhart, TX to be close to family.Joyce is survived by one son: Steven J. Kinsman of LaSalle, CO, one daughter: Diane Blair Kinsman of Dalhart, TX. 6 Grandchildren Timothy W. McMillen of Dalhart, TX, Travis C. Black of Camp Verde, AZ, Quentin D. Black of Buckeye, AZ, Jerrod D. Kinsman of Loveland, CO., Stephanie Harrison of Colorado, springs, CO and Brenna Quillen of commerce City, CO and 9 Great grandchildren.
