Dwayne Lamar Roberts was born October 10, 1926 in Dalhart, Texas to Henry and Rachel (Blakley) Roberts.. He graduated from Dalhart High School and attended WTSU. On March 31, 1945 he married Peggy Harding in Clovis, NM. They lived in Camp Chaffee, AR prior to moving to Dalhart. Dwayne retired from the U.S.Postal Service after 40 years. Mr. Roberts was a US Army Veteran, past elder and active member of the Dalhart First Presbyterian Church and member of the Twin Mirrors Camping Club where he served as camp host for Columbine Canyon and the Carson National Forrest for many years. Preceded in death by his Parents - and his wife Peggy.
