Burton Doyle Hanbury, 80, died Sunday, December 11, 2012 in Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Central United Methodist Church.Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.Doyle was born on February 17th 1931 in Dalhart, Texas, the son of Burton and Dessie Mae Hanbury.He attended school in Dalhart, Price College in Amarillo, Wentworth Military Academy, the University of Austin and the University of Houston.He married Nancy Hallmark on August 27, 1950 and loved her for sixty-one years.He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in Korea.Doyle practiced law with Floyd Richards, was an officer at Dalhart Federal and Citizens State Bank where he retired.In private life, he was a pilot, and an avid fly fisherman and hunter.
