Raised in Hillsboro, TX, Dorothy married Victor O. Pete Fowler in Whitney, TX. Dorothy and her children moved to Dalhart in 1951. She worked for Coon Memorial Nursing Home for over 25 years, retiring in 1983. Dorothy married Truman Richie Rich in 1972. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist ChurchSurvivors include her Daughters: Mary & her husband Joseph Perkins of Dalhart, TX & Dixie & her husband Harold Wilkinson of Dalhart. Son: James & his wife Joyce Fowler of Checotah, OK Sisters: Edith & her husband Mark Ball of Palmer, TX and Jerri & her husband Richard Smith of Conroe, TX21 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband - 2 sons (Ray Dell & Walter Fowler), 1 brother (J.P. Pryor) & 3 sisters (Lucille Franks, Stella Cooley, Winnie Collins.)
