Doris Fletcher, 90 of Dalhart, passed away on December 2, 2022. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the old First Presbyterian Church, 1409 Scott Ave, with Wallace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Fletcher will lay in state from 4 until 8:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Doris was born on January 11, 1932 to Arthur and Bessie Wright in Los Angeles, CA. she married Wallace Fletcher and they spent many happy years together. He as a home maker who treasured her family. Mammaw enjoyed listening to music and singing, ceramics, decorating and going to garage sales. She was a people person and loved making everyone happy. Mammaw will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Doris was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Wendy Louise Lang; one son: Dennis Lee Fletcher; 3 brothers; 3 sisters and one great grandson: Irrek Mikel Graves. Mammaw is survived by 3 children: Wallace Neil Fletcher of Florida; Jackie Sue Fletcher of Amarillo and Mary Campbell of Dalhart; 12 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.
