Doris Dugger, 74, died Monday, October 27, 2015 in Lubbock, TX Graveside Services were held at 3:00 pm Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral HomeOfficiating was her son-in-law: David Williams, Pastor First Baptist Church, Paducah, TXDoris Kathleen Mills was born March 27, 1941 in Dalhart, Texas to Louis and Pauline (White) Mills. She grew up in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1957. She was a lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church.Doris started her career as a lab and x-ray technician for Dr. Frank and Dr. Pronko, and later worked for Dr. John Finley. She was also the manager for the Buccaneer and S&H Green Stamp store, as well as managing Ritas Fashions and her own T-shirt imprinting business.As busy as she was, her family was always the center of her life. She loved leading her daughter Jannas Girl Scout Troop as well as being an FHA sponsor on state trips. Doris even served as a sponsor on Jannas college Humanities trip to the Opera in Santa Fe, NM. Doris was fondly known as Mimi to her three granddaughters Lesley, Mackinsey and Kelsey. Mimi taught the girls to love coffee, sleep late and play Super Mario. Recently she became a great Mimi with the birth of her great grandson Mills. Mimi loved facetiming and talking to him. Doris enjoyed playing Bridge with several friends and cards with her family.Doris is survived by her daughter, Janna and husband David Williams of Paducah, TX, granddaughters, Lesley and her husband Jason Jaap of Kilgore, TX, Mackinsey Williams and Kelsey Williams both of Lubbock, TX and a great-grandson: Mills Jaap of Kilgore, TX.
