Donnie (Don) Lee Files Sr Born 07/08/1936 in Mangum, OK passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 in Dalhart, TX. He was loved by most, was cheerful, tough, and always going and doing. He loved the outdoors and his time spent under the gazebo. If he disagreed with you, he would say, "horse hockey." He worked hard all his life at several jobs, but for the most part, he was a master plumber, truck driver, and in his younger years was a pilot. He loved Canyon Lake, TX, but most recently moved to Shallowater, TX. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Marie Files, brother: Bill Files, sister: Karen Line, son: Don Files Jr, and two stepsons: Mike Noyes and Jerry Noyes along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his mother: Iva J. Files, father: W.G. Bill Files, sister: Verna Williams, and daughter: Kathy Files-Medcalf. You will always be in our hearts because in there youre still alive. A memorial service was held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Street Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas, officiated by Pastor Rusty Hancock.
