Donna Petty Frazier, 60, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Amarillo, Texas.Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2015, in Dalhart Memorial Park Cemetery with Dean Whaley officiating. Donna Petty was born August 1, 1955 in San Antonio, TX to Neil and Josephine (Dillard) Petty. She graduated from Floresville High School in 1973 and from Sul Ross State University with a degree in range animal science and industrial arts in 1978. She married Joel Frazier on June 7, 1978 in Clayton, NM and they moved to Dalhart in 1982.Donna was awarded the 1973 Lone Star Farmer award and won numerous livestock shows including the San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo. She was personally selected to show Texas Governor John Connallys registered cattle at major livestock shows. A talented instrumentalist and vocalist, Donna was also a licensed real estate agent, Federal Firearms Licensee and Pawn Broker. Her life centered around family and she enjoyed gardening, collecting artifacts, fishing and pistol shooting. She is survived by her husband Joel of Dalhart, TX, 2 daughters: Cammie Frazier-Tidrow and her husband Kory of Dalhart, TX, and Jamie Frazier of Dalhart, TX. 1 son: Jodee Frazier of Austin, TX. A grandson: Ethan Frazier of Dalhart, TX. An Uncle: Eddie Dillard and his wife Martha of Laredo, TX and an Adopted brother Wallace Guerra of Laredo, TX.Preceded in death by her parents.
